Isaac Lee isn’t very good with dead bodies. He thought future Isaac would know what he would do when someone died, not the high school senior Isaac. They didn’t teach him in biology how to exactly drag a dead body from a school gym to a bed of a pickup truck. People who annoy Ashley Nguyen, Isaac’s best friend, go through a strange pattern of dying: unexplained murders, collapsing buildings and sudden illnesses. Ashley is unaware that she is the goddess of death with the ability to take or give life and that girl who cut the lunch line had it coming. As an up-and-coming goddess of death, her duties require her to lead souls to the afterlife and to prevent upsetting the balance, she must remain neutral. Suddenly, Isaac becomes the popular teenager in the underworld as every creature of angels, demons, vampires, werewolves, zombies, poltergeist, and a bloody ninja looking to influence the goddess of death for their own agenda. Isaac must find a way to stop his best friend from falling into the wrong hands and stop her from killing everybody else. It’s a good thing, she doesn’t allow him to die.
