AMACO Opalescent O-26 Turquoise Glaze Pint, 16 oz. (473 mL), Low Fire Cone 05 (O) Liquid Ceramic Pottery Glaze for Bisque

AMACO Opalescent O-26 Turquoise Glaze is an active, flowing low-fire glaze that breaks clear over texture and pools a soft cerulean where thick. Because of its tendency to break and expose the clay body beneath, this glaze looks stunning over AMACO Sedona Red Clay No. 67 and over textured ware that has been painted with underglaze. Apply on Cone 04 bisque by brushing, dipping, or pouring, then fire to Cone 05; best results are achieved with 3 or 4 applications of glaze. 16 oz. (473 mL) jar. Liquid, low fire, ready-to-use AMACO Opalescent "O" Glazes are high gloss glazes with an iridescence similar to mother-of-pearl. Use on any AMACO clay; greatest opalescence and most interesting textures occur when applied over Sedona Red No. 67. On red bisque these glazes should be applied heavily and a slow firing is best. On textured ware, the glaze flows thin on relief and thick in incised areas, accenting details. Excellent results for raku. Food safe when fired to recommended temperatures. Glazes contain no lead or cadmium. Not for use with grades 6 and below.
